The study results showed informativity value of nine microbiological and biochemical parameters for assessing the ecological and biological state of soils in organic farming. The informativeness of the parameters was determined by the degree of correlation with the change in anthropogenic load in the series: soils of traditional fields - organic fields - background areas. Studies carried out on the lands of the farm of Rybnoslobodsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan made it possible to establish that a high and very high correlations with anthropogenic load were manifested for 7 parameters on soddy-podzolic soils of the farm and only for 3 - on gray forest soils, average - for 1 parameter on soddy podzolic soils and for 3 - on gray forest soils. It was shown that the most promising parameters for ecological and biological assessment of soils are the abundance of bacteria of the genus Azotobacter, the activity of the enzymes invertase and urease.
