The potential for accessible tourism development in specially protected natural territories of the Republic of Tatarstan

Accessible tourism is one of the most dynamically developing segments of the international tourist market. Problems of tourism development in the modern world are diverse, but the development of accessible tourism, its social functions, civil and humanitarian significance take a special place. Considering the growth of disabled population as an expanding process, including developed countries, these problems become objectively relevant to the formation and the development of the social state in Russia. Protected areas worldwide are actively used for organization of different types of tourism, including to make travel for people with disabilities. The article highlights the primary problems associated with the development of accessible tourism and how they can be overcome. It was shown the potential of specially protected natural territories of the Republic of Tatarstan for the development of all types of accessible tourism.
