Abstract

Quantitative indicators of the relationship between the natural moisture content of bottom sediments of water bodies and their grain size composition, bulk density and organic matter content are considered. The need to take into account humidity in assessing the quality of bottom sediments and the possibility of using its value as an indirect indicator of the composition and properties of sediments is shown.
